Rayon is a semi-synthetic fiber, made from natural sources of regenerated cellulose, such as wood and related agricultural product, sometimes it is also called viscose or artificial silk, silk rayon is a blend of silk and rayon, according to different weave styles of fabrics, it is divided into plain, twill and satin, which retains the smooth, shiny, also silk rayon provides better insulation and breathability than pure silk, but is not as soft or luxurious. However, it does cost less and is easier to care for, unfortunately, rayon industry contributes to deforestation and pollution, it is chemically-intensive.
